Love Lyf, Live Lyf :-)

Recently I recieved a mail... a fabulous mail (thanks to the one who created it !!!). With due respect, I am posting something which is not my creation. Although, I made a few additions here and there; but still, I owe thanks to the one who suggestted all this soooo beautifully, that I can't stop sharing with you all... sooooo... here it goes, "The Mantra to Lucky Lyf !!!"

We all do things... wish for that they turn up our way... very small things, which we kept on thinking about n spoil our happy go lyf !

1. Throw out non-essential numbers. This includes age, weight, and height.

Let the doctors worry about them.. That is why you pay them.

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)

3. Keep learning:

Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.

Never let the brain get idle.

"An idle mind is the devil's workshop."

And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with him or her!

6. The tears happen:

Endure, grieve, and move on.

The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourself.

LIVE while you are alive.

7 Surround yourself with what you love:

Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.

Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:

If it is good, preserve it.

If it is unstable, improve it.

If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips.

Take a trip to the mall, even to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

Digitized Beggars !

I know.. you all must be eagerly waiting for my next post (I know none of you...., but all this keeps me motivated to write something new... something weired... something which can be read ! after all we all are vellas!)... here it goes...

You all know.. recession time has hit hard us all specially those who graduated this year!. No jobs.. no offers... all dreams shattered... and only frustration all around... but still, we find a way to keep ourselves happy... let our friends be kool!.

Everyone is listening to each other... motivating them to keep patientce... no bad bites... helping each other all the time... hoping that everyone wil see a silver lining through the black clouds very soon. Positive line being... 'Everyone unites in times of setbacks'.

I was dreaming the last day and found a great idea to keep me in good shape. I laudhed, and wanted you all to smile at it. Its weired (its yucks!), its of no use... but see the height of madness, what one may think of in such a bad time. Yaar kya karein, ye naukri ki bhook hai !

Now, the idea... 'Digitizing' the Beggars - a new revolution !
Yes, you hear it right... see the kind of revolution, when all beggars (including us...) will be equipped with a small steel bowl with a tiny screen plus a card swipe and a few buttons to key in the Visa pin. We digital beggars will be Visa & Master Card ready. No need you cannot pay us cash... we accept all sorts of plastic money. Very well suited corporate beggars ! wow... What an insight. Here come a traffic signal, and a well suited corporate figure attacked the car owners to beg for a few bucks out of their 'plastic wallets'. And this is not all... we digital beggers will be following a code of conduct. And, our rule says, every transaction is accountable. We'll give receipts for all donations made to us.

Aah!, we'll beg for big bucks. Now with raising salaries and no more jobs, its an ideal stop for us. No registration, no interviews... just buy one 'Digital Katora' and start earning. All your marketing skills will be judged, no one can fire you... and earning has no limit ! - What an idea sir... ;)

These ugly looking beggers are now going to courts to take stay on us, for the kind of hi-fi competition we had introduced in front of them. They will soon stop begging and as a result, our India will be free from ugly looking beggers. We all will be begging at all places. Our empire will be global. Our partners will spread all across... be it religious places, traffic signals, offices, Railway stations... We will rule the world.

And soon, Mumma waken me up... its gud morning, son!. I thought... ohh! one more chance went into dreaming. Anyways... idea was great to laugh upon. I would love to hear from you all... what all wierdo you are thinking these days ??? share them along in the comments section. I will be glad if anyone can compete with me in wieredness ! ;)

Love u all!

How will you spend your 500 bucks ???

I watched this video on one of my friends' orkut profile and got tempted to write something. I wanted to add a sensible note to my previous posting that was a slap on Railways' new proposed pass scheme for people who earn less than 500 bucks a month. Have a look at this video and decide... it has a much deeper meaning than the linkage.

So... what will you buy, if you find a Rs. 500 note by any chance ??? have you decided ??? i haven't... I couldn't imagined what all one can do of a single 500 green note... people waste it.. people praise it... people admire it.. gift it... save it... n what not ?

If I would have been given a choice, I may have plenty of answers, ranging from buying a good T-shirt, going to a restaurant, gifting teddy's to friends (oops ! to gfs ;)), throwing a movie party, or what not ??

I(rather we...) never think of those who may have got better education with that petty money... or someone, who could have managed eating for a month, or those kids who may have smiled on their new clothings...

This small video makes us think about all this, and I do realize to keep eyes open and mind in place while spending.

People have their own choices... one earns and works hard to spend.... this is right. And this may be the reason one never looks at the other side of the reality... where poor do not get the same kind of living as we could. Many of us also say that whatever we earn, we pay heavily towards the benefit of the society in the form of taxes.... that is also right. So, who is to blame ? the government, the society or ourselves ???

I am still very young to answer this and I know, just by writing all this I am not doing anything great. But, still... I feel that If anyone gets inspired by watching this or reading this story, A new step will be taken and one day, we can see our "India shining !". Just a simple saying to end this post...
"Always keep in mind about our responsibility to bring society to the level we wanted to live in, before any act."

Indian Politics - from Melodrama to Mail-O-Drama !

Ms Mamta Banerjee, our Hon'ble Railway Minister, announced on joining the ministry that She'll come up with a scheme that will enable people having a monthly income below Rs. 500/- to travel through trains with a daily pass costing just Rs.20/- for a month !
-- Seems a good start to attract our "Aam janta".
This seems to be a first one from newly elected UPA government. The offer from Railway Ministry seems good only from eyes of Ministers.... as they can start counting their "janta k liye kiye gaye kaam" (works done for the common man). I still cannot believe if there are any takers for such a scheme.
In our country, as minimum wage level has been raised to Rs. 80/- and with schemes like "Sampoorna Swarojgar Yojna (aka... Employment for all schemes)" which claims to offer employment for all adults for a minimum of 100 days (I'm sorry if I' wrong on these figures... but, this is what I know...).
My simple logic is based on calculations which are backed by such assumptions that these schemes do run and are successful, as seen in the claims by political parties (or the previous government).  As my logic says, all people/adults may get a minimum 100 days employment and that too at the minimum wage rate of Rs. 80/-; with this one gets a minimum wage of Rs. 8000/- per annum.... this is very low in terms if we see how this person will sustain living in this costly world. But, his average earning (Rs. 8000 divided by 12 = Rs. 667) comes out to be more than Rs. 500/- per month... Poor chap ! he still is unable to get access to Ms Mamta's so called travelling pass for poors.
But, thats not the true story; there are still people who will qualify such a status and will be enjoying the travelling pass. What number ? who are they ? what they do ?... if we get these answers, they will merely go out of the reach from such "pass".
The actual benefits will either be taken by those who fool the authorities or those who have nothing to do... I still am unable to imagine of a person who works for just 500/- a month and still travels by train to his/her work area.
Though there may be a line for those who will enjoy its benefits.... ranging from daily workers (i doubt!)... maids (still doubt)... beggers(serious doubt... do they travel?)...vendors(big doubt!)...
All such offers and schemes put by ministries tend to be for the common man... with uncommon abilities... because, every common man is able to earn his/her living by simple means... even with a contribution to the government taxes... and builds up this India... our India !
But, our politicians run by another logic. Logic of the "Common Man" which sticks to luring schemes meant for none ! and this, which ones seem to be a Melodrama for India's future has become a "Mail-O-Drama"! now.... (Mail means 'dirt' in hindi).

Back Again !

Hey...
I'm back again... though din't went anywhere... but still back on blogging... in high spirits !
Was searching for some topics to write... but was confused a bit... about what to write... then was preoccupied with other committments... all this kept me away from writing back again.
Then suddenly one day, Anshi ma'am pinged me up to see her blog... it was a nice motivator... then, Anurag bugged me to follow his newly started blogspot!... I just remembered those days... when I was in true spirits to write something. Then again, I started searching for some good things to write on, but ended up having more confusion in my head than in my heart.
Politics... wow! hot Indian Politics... very much to please me to share my views on that, and here I go...
I am starting my 2nd innings from now on... and will be talking about politics... "the big plans for building India"... and others...
Would appreciate every effort from you people... coz, you are the ones, who may motivate me to write more or dump down again.
I know, I may be touching a few day-to-day issues which keep coming in our minds, whenever we put on our TVs/Radios/Internet... or simply while talking to our peer... but still, we keep all our imaginative suggestions back into our minds...
I am trying to put in some of such ideas back to work through this blog.... which sometime in future may be a reality... then, their would be talks about future India...talks about our dreams... our own so called "Jugad" solutions to everything...; So, keep yourself updated with whatsoever comes into my mind about our lives... and please share what all comes into yours....
